We had monday off, so we went out to Point Reyes.
Sheila brought us there safe and sound.
(Sheila is my truck)
Flo was Optimistic despite our giant backpacks.
I was preoccupied with propping up the camera and setting the timer.
Tall trees make Flo look short.
So she hiked to the tallest place we could find.
I chew on my glasses when I’m nervous.
We got kind of lost.
Luckily, the ocean is a pretty big target to hit.
Still a relief when we found it though.
And what a beautiful ocean it was.
Did I mention… Beautiful ocean?
The inland scenery was alright too.
We slept in a tent with a giant lapel while it rained.
The next day was pretty.
Flo found a tipsy log to balance on.
And a waterfall.
And some caves.
Oh, and the ocean.
The sky started trying to sneak up on Flo.
So we made tracks for the woods.
Flo was relieved once we put a few trees between her and that sneaky sky.
Flo wore her flip flops most of the way back
Sheila was about as easy to find as the ocean despite her size.
Sheila drove us home
Later, we went out to see big Freedia.
That umbrella should say hot babes.
